About Dr. Ravi Gupta
Dr. Ravi Gupta is a well known and experienced Senior Heart Specialist from Mumbai. He is currently associated as Consultant, Head of the department, cardiology at Wockhardt Hospital, South Mumbai. His special interest areas are non surgical treatment (Ballooning and Angioplasty) of Arteries of Neck, Kidney and Lower Limbs, and Varicose Veins. Till date, he has performed more than 7000 coronary angioplasties including complex cases like left main, bifurcation lesions, trifurcation lesions and chronic total occlusions with minimal complication rate. He is proficient in structural heart diseases specially TAVI.
Dr. Ravi Gupta has received multiple awards and recognitions. He is Member of Asia Venous Insufficiency Forum (Singapore). He has been recognized as the best interventional cardiologist (in India) in 2009 and 2011. Apart from this an interesting interventional case was well appreciated in national conference “C A D” held in Mumbai and was selected for the Best Young Interventionist in India’ award in year 2008. He has been also invited as faculty in several national and international conferences like TCT and Euro PCR to share his experiences and complex cases
